חנוך הוא מטטרון הנער בצבא המרומים את חייו אנו כאן מספרים. נתן לו האל מהלכים בין האנשים בארצים.

ירד ואביו של מתושלח לא מת ככל האנשים אלא נאמר עליו "ואיננו כי לקח אותו אלהים" – דהיינו הפך למלאך
ועלה למרומים. סיפור חייו המרתק מעת לידתו, חתונתו והפיכתו לנביא, ועלייתו למרומים מופיע להלן בפעם
הראשונה במלואו מתוך תורת הסוד בפרטות ובאהבה רבה. רבי יונתן בן עוזיאל בתרגומו לבראשית ה כד , מציין
כי חנוך הפך למלאך מטרון: " "והא ליתוהי עם דיירי ארעא ארום אתנגיד וסליק לרקיעא במימר קדם ה' וקרא
שמה מטטרון ספרא רבא " ] = איננו עם שוכני ארץ, כי עלה לרקיע כדבר ה', וייקרא שמו מטטרון, הסופר הגדול[.
דמותו המסתורית של חנוך שהפך למטטרון מובאת לפני הקורא וחייו החדשים במרומים וא ופן עלייתו אל
המרומים ושהייתו בקרב המלאכים. הרב לוי בן גרשון מציין בפירושו על פסוק זה: "כי הוא השלים נפשו והגיע
בו שלמותו" – הנביא חנוך הגיע לשלמות נפשית דרך תורת הסוד ולכן עלה למרומים עוד בחייו, והפך למלאך
מטטרון, שר בצבא המרומים. עוד לפני האבות הקדושים הפיץ חנוך את האמונה באלהים חיים יחידי בכל
העולמים, ונלחם נגד עובדי האלילים בעזרת היושב במרומים והשמות הקדושים. הנביא חנוך הפיץ את האמונה
באלהים בכל העולם, וניתץ את כל האלילים. למעשה חנוך בחייו היה מלך המשיח בעולם הזה בכל המובנים.

Preface
Enoch is Metatron, the boy in the army of the high-minded, whose life
we are recounting here. God gave him the power to walk among the
people in the lands. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and
before you were born I ordained you a prophet to the nations I made
you, the King of kings said to Enoch, the prophet of God. The
fascinating life story of the prophet Enoch, who became an angel, is
presented to readers for the first time from ancient manuscripts of the
Kabbalists of all generations, as well as from the words of Chazal in the
Gemara, Agada, and Midrash. The prophet Enoch, the son of Jared and
the father of Methuselah, did not die like all other people, but it is said
of him, "And he was not, for God took him" – that is, he became an
angel and ascended to heaven. The fascinating life story from the time
of his birth, his marriage, and his becoming a prophet, and his
ascension to heaven appears below for the first time in its entirety
from the Torah of the Secret, in detail and with great love. Rabbi
Yonatan ben Uziel, in his translation of Genesis 524, notes that Enoch
became an angel, a matron: He is not with the inhabitants of the earth,
for he ascended to heaven according to the word of the Lord, and his
name shall be called Metatron, the great scribe]. The mysterious figure
of Enoch who became Metatron is presented to the reader and his
new life in the heavens and the manner of his ascension to the
heavens and his being among the angels. Rabbi Levi ben Gershon
notes in his commentary on this verse: "For he perfected his soul and
reached his perfection" – the prophet Enoch reached spiritual
perfection through the Torah of the Secret and therefore ascended to
the heavens while still alive, and became the angel Metatron, a leader
in the army of the heavens. Even before the holy fathers, Enoch spread
the belief in the one living God throughout all the worlds, and fought
against the idolaters with the help of the One who sits on high and the
holy names. The prophet Enoch spread the belief in God throughout
the world, and shattered all the idols. In fact, Enoch during his life was
the Messianic King in this world in every sense. And all the people
honored him and learned from him about the King of kings, the
Blessed One. Enoch is the first prophet of God who ascended alive to
heaven, even before Elijah the Tishbite prophet.
